Overview
Dongdok App supports 3 payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, and QR Payment. You can use any one method or combine them within a single order.
Cash
Steps
- Select Cash as the payment method
- Enter the amount received from the customer
- The system calculates change automatically
- Confirm the order
Change Calculation
The system calculates change instantly:
- Amount due: 50,000 LAK
- Amount received: 100,000 LAK
- Change: 50,000 LAK
Multiple Currencies
If you receive cash in USD or THB, select the correct currency before entering the amount. The system will convert the change based on the exchange rate you set in Store Settings.
Tip: Use the preset amount buttons (e.g. 50K, 100K) to speed up cash handling.
Bank Transfer
Steps
- Select Bank Transfer as the payment method
- Ask the customer to transfer the exact amount to your account
- Once you receive the transfer, confirm the order
Notes to Record
You can add notes such as:
- Bank name used for the transfer
- Transfer reference number
- Time of transfer
This information is saved in the order history for later verification.
Note: Always verify the transfer in your banking app before confirming to avoid mistakes.
QR Payment
Set Up Your QR Code
Before using QR Payment, you need to add your bank QR code in Store Settings first.
Steps
- Select QR Payment as the payment method
- The app displays your QR Code on screen
- The customer scans the QR with their banking app
- The customer enters the amount and confirms the payment
- Once you receive the payment, tap Confirm in the app
Note: Dongdok App does not automatically verify QR payments. You must confirm receipt in your bank or banking app before confirming the order.
Combining Payment Methods
In some cases a customer may pay with 2 methods โ for example, part cash and part transfer:
- Select the first method and enter the amount paid
- Tap Add Payment Method
- Select the second method and enter the remaining amount
- Confirm the order
